Preparation Drives In Full Gear

As a distinguish textile fair in the thriving region - Shandong, The 9th China (Qingdao) International Textile Machinery Fair ("QITMF") will be staged at Qingdao International Convention Center from April 10 - 12, 2008.

With the kick off of the development project "Building Shandaong Province as a manufacturing base", as well as implementation of the textile industrial structure adjustment plan, a sharp improvement in technology and facilities for textile industry in Shandong was noted and regarded as a strategy for enhancing competitiveness. In 2008 QITMF, organizers will enrich the show content and enhance quality of exhibits, increase promotion and optimize services to address the market needs. Subsequently this improvement will provide the best business situation for exhibitors and professional visitors.

The success of QITMF relies on the unfailing support of the loyal exhibitors. Up to now, the past exhibitors will repeat to exhibit and have took up 70% of the exhibition booths. In response to visitors' call for update equipments, exhibitors have increased their booth area this year in order to display more new machines for the benefit of professional buyers. For example, Chemtax Industrial Co. Ltd, with 40 years experience as an agency for professional textile machineries, has increased the exhibiting area by 50% in compare with 2007; Jakob Mueller Hong Kong China Ltd has increased 33%; and Dongguan Hongxhing Machinery Co. Ltd took up extra 50% area.

Exhibitors' primary objective is to establish relationships with professional buyers and build network in the industry, through showcase of their brands and products with the aid of QITMF's potent and professional platform. Despite the unceasing support from past exhibitors, QITMF succeed in recruiting numerous new faces to join the 2008 edition. The encourage support from new exhibitors demonstrates QITMF as a strategic move and spotlight to exploiting market of textile industry in Shandong Province. The new exhibitors include Nan Sing Machinery Ltd; Steiger, members of ITEMA Group since 2006, who have over 50 years of experiences in developing and manufacturing of computerized flat knitting machines, furthermore YanTai S&S Technology Application Engineering Co., Ltd, United Texmac Pte Ltd, Zhangjiagang City Shenli Machinery Plant, Ruian Yizhan Printing Machinery Co. Ltd, Huangshi Textile Machinery Manufactory, Qingdao Loosn Industrial Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd, Xinchang Nanfeng Textile Machinery Co. Ltd, Shanghai Shencui Machinery Co. Ltd, Lida Textile Equipment Co. Ltd, Shanghai Hibelt Industry Belting Co. Ltd, Shanghai PowerChem Co. Ltd, Jiangdu City Yulung Printing Machinery Co Ltd etc. Visitors will see exhibitions' new images, innovative technology and products and their best effort at QITMF.

Organizers aim at providing brilliant services, market-based dynamic to the show, and to attract exhibitors and visitors out of the exhibition's successful record and word of mouth in the keen competition. QITMF is not only a platform for making business, but also an excellent channel for professional exchange and communication. 2008 QITMF has received support from textile associations in Shandong Province, as well as professional buyers by organizing delegations

Concurrent events during the show period will be organized and details will be released soon. According to Chemtax, they will stage an underwear model pageant campaign to demonstrate the drama to the underwear with their new equipment and innovative technology. The campaign will bring excitement to and create noise in the underwear industry. A marvelous performance will be presented to the audiences.

The exhibition halls are divided into different zones according to the exhibits and technology, including

  • Print, Dyeing & Finishing Machinery Zone;
  • Knitting Machinery Zone.
