Cornerstone of China Textile Industry – Shandong Base
With a sales amount reached RMB 470 billion last year, the production scale of textile products in Shandong ranked third in China, with 2 million people – about a quarter of the province’s total workforce, engaged in the industry. The output amount of yarn, cloth and home textile of Shandong ranked first in the country, with its wool production capacity ranked second, printing and dyeing capacity ranked third, and chemical fibre and apparel production ranked fourth. From the first 3 quarters of 2009, the province’s export amount reached 11.73 billion U.S. dollars, equivalent to a 15% increase over last year. Furthermore, in May 2009, the country’s largest cotton logistics center is inaugurated in Shandong, covering an area of 450 acres with a total investment of
260 million RMB.
The China (Qingdao) International Textile Machinery Fair has been dedicated to providing professional exhibition services to the players in Shandong Province. Riding on the success of the past ten years, the Fair is rooted in Shandong with influences spanning over Northern China and even the entire country. As a professional platform for commerce and communication, the Fair is an ideal choice to showcase textile machinery products to buyers in the area.

Fair Features
- Founded in 2000, the Fair stationed in Qingdao - Olympic Sailing Capital of the country, the city of business and trade. The City’s output value of textiles and garments was up to RMB95.12 billion from 2009 January-October, supporting the Fair to become the largest textile machinery exhibition in Shandong with the greatest patronage from the industry.
- The Fair is an annual event dedicated to serving the textile industry in Shandong and the whole country which helps exhibitors to open up different markets. It provides customers with a series of relative business contacts to promote the interaction between enterprises as well as supporting the development of products
